The Bridge the Gap Foundation is a 'cleft lip team'.
'The plan' is simple: teach the Laotian colleagues of the 'Mahosot Hospital' (the academic hospital, responsible for all of Laos) surgical techniques to treat the huge numbers of untreated cleft lip (=schisis) patients.
The treatment of the poorest children in Laos with cleft lip or NOMA and the improvement of healthcare and the training of doctors and dentists.
Providing technical and material support for the surgery and treatment of cleft lip patients and survivors of NOMA, the training and further education of doctors and dentists.
