Built with Purpose. Driven by Change. Rebuild For Change is a Cape Town nonprofit backing young people to build skills and confidence. We start early and stay alongside them as they grow. Paint With Purpose is our arts-based programme for children at ECD centres across the Cape Flats. Through creative sessions, children build emotional regulation, communication skills, and positive behaviour. We also equip the educators and caregivers around them with workshops and practical guides, so the impact carries on long after the session ends. Write To Understand is our free English literacy programme. Strong English opens doors in the workplace, and we help our participant speak, write, and present with confidence. Young people in our communities have ideas, talent, and drive. What they need is a fair shot and people who back them. Your donation helps us put that in place. “Because some traditions are too precious to fade.” Since 1960, the SACSA Easter Tournament has been the heartbeat of the South African Chinese community—uniting generations through sport, friendship, laughter, and shared heritage. It is where childhood memories were made, lifelong bonds were formed, and our roots were strengthened. Across decades, it has brought families together and kept our community connected. Every child deserves to grow up in a stable, loving family, but for many, this is not a reality. Give a Child a Family Africa (GCF) is dedicated to supporting vulnerable families to prevent family breakdown and the separation of children from their homes. When staying with their family is not an option, GCF offers emergency placement for children in safe, nurturing environments with assessed and trained families. Committed to family-based care, GCF works to avoid institutional placements and runs a foster care programme which provides assessed and trained foster parents for children who cannot return to their own families, offering them the stability and support they need to thrive.
